Supporting our local businesses, especially those that rely heavily on in-person interactions is more important than ever. We encourage you to consider ways that you might safely and responsibly assist one another. Here are some suggestions for ways you can support the businesses you love.

Bring Your Favorite Restaurant Home!    Plan a Home Improvement Project!   Donate to a Food Bank!

  • Pick up your food at your favorite restaurant

This gives you a break from cooking every day. You get some delicious food and the restaurant is still making money, which helps them.

  • Gift cards from your favorite restaurant or store are still available online

As many places are forced to be closed, you can still go online to their websites or give them a call and order a gift card for a family member or friend.  Some restaurants are still offering delivery as well.

  • Try shopping online and save

Several businesses are offering huge discounts, up to 50% off their normal prices in an effort to help you and keep their businesses afloat during this time.  It’s a win win for you and the business!

  • Support local markets in your neighborhood

The super grocery stores and markets are doing a great job keeping up with the high demand, but try grocery shopping at a local market as well. Local markets are great at providing the freshest produce to the community, but during these trying times, they need our support.

  • Consider a donation to a food bank

If you’re income has not been affected, please help our local food banks. They need money now more than ever to help families that cannot afford food. Neighbors helping neighbors create positive vibes!

  • Leave a positive review for a business in your neighborhood

More positive reviews could help businesses get more orders or online sales during this difficult time.  You might have more time in your day since you are not commuting to your work place, so how about giving a neighborhood business a boost with some positive feedback on Google, Yelp or Facebook.
